Sam Altman is the CEO of OpenAI, and according to him, artificial intelligence remains the agent to change human productivity forever. He is very passionate about the mission of OpenAI to develop safe and beneficial Artificial Intelligence.

Altman insists that OpenAI has a solid commitment to safety and ethical behavior, lining up with rigorous testing and moral guidelines that have been comprehensively formulated to reduce misuse and the effects of AI.

Under Altman, OpenAI has raised some valuable partnerships and investments from startups. Personally, Altman has put millions of dollars into investments in promising tech companies that echo the faith in these companies taking part in the larger tech ecosystem. He believes these companies will go on to innovate and pioneer changes with advancements in artificial intelligence separate from OpenAI.

Your Weekly Creative Digest: Kith BMW - Vitality Green

For this week’s discussion on Art, Design & Style, we will be discussing Vitality Green by Kith for BMW. Vitality Green is a unique one-of-one color created by Ronnie Fieg and his company Kith in collaboration with BMW.

Vitality Green resulted from the second chapter of the connection between Kith and BMW. Ronnie is quoted saying “We pushed ourselves to find a way to distinguish this project from the last. Inspired by BMW’s innovation in electrification, I wanted to tell a green story.” Fieg and the Kith team wanted to create their very own unique color. “Not a paint currently offered, not a paint from their archive, but a completely new custom Kith paint in a green that would be solely created for Chapter II.” 

Ronnie and the team at BMW spent a year researching and testing to find the right combination to create this shade of green. “Vitality” in its most basic form means “energy,” but it also means, “The power giving continuance of life, present in all living things.” It’s a word that epitomizes the electric story we are telling with BMW.” What makes this work aesthetic is the attention to detail. The curation of deep references and color studies helped to create a color that both matches Kith and BMW’s branding. The result? A color that strikes emotion of energy and luxe. “This color is more than just a beautiful shade of green, but a statement on how beautiful the world can look if we take care of it.” Vitality Green will be used for this project only and won’t be available on another BMW car.

Insights for a Vibrant Life: Sunlight Tips from Andrew Huberman

Morning Sunlight Exposure:

Dr. Huberman, the esteemed Neuroscientist in his “Huberman Lab Podcast”, strongly emphasizes how important it is to get 10-30 minutes of sunlight within the first hour of waking up in the morning. This habit can have monumental lasting effects when implemented. It can help to regulate your circadian rhythm, improve your focus, and mood, and even boost your metabolism.

Sunlight and Sleep Quality:

Huberman explains how sunlight exposure, especially during sunset, can enhance sleep quality by adjusting your melatonin production. It turns out that aside from just natural beauty, the witnessing of sunsets can have profound effects on general health. Huberman recommends spending 10-20 minutes outside during sunsets daily to signal the body that it is time to wind down.

Sunlight and Mood:

He mentions that receiving morning and evening sunlight consistently can aid in reducing stress and boosting mood. This encourages your body to have better dopamine regulation, which can result in maintaining focus, energy, and a positive mental mindset.

Sunscreen Use:

Huberman makes sure to clarify that sunscreen should be used during times of prolonged exposure to the sun. Despite the potential risks of UV radiation, he still recommends allowing direct exposure to the skin and eyes (without sunglasses) to maximize all of the mentioned benefits.
