Celebrating Juneteenth
As we release this newsletter on June 19th, we honor Juneteenth. This holiday commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans, marking the day in 1865 when Union troops arrived in Texas to enforce the Emancipation Proclamation. Juneteenth is both a day for reflection and celebration.

Health and Wellness
Eggs: Natures Multivitamin

Nutritional Value:
Eggs are extremely nutritionally dense, containing a good quantity of high-quality protein, vitamins, and minerals, such as Choline, vitamin B12, riboflavin, selenium, and antioxidants like lutein which are beneficial to our eyes.
Heart Health:
Despite being high in cholesterol, eggs don't really have adverse effects on cholesterol in the blood. In fact, according to a Harvard study, they can improve a person's cholesterol profile by increasing levels of HDL (good cholesterol) and changing subtype particles of LDL to be much less harmful.
Brain Health:
Eggs are a great source of choline, a vital nutrient that contributes to the development and functioning of the brain. Choline helps in forming acetylcholine, an important chemical that plays a role in actions regulating memory and mood. Long term consumption can be associated with decreased risk in neurological diseases like Alzheimers and Dementia.
